This Android Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Team of Monkeys ("we," "us," or "our"), a division of STOM Research, treats information in connection with your use of our Android applications ("Apps"). We are committed to transparency and to protecting the privacy of every user who chooses to use our applications. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.
Team of Monkeys does not retain, store, collect, or hold any information, details, or any other data about our users. We formally state that we do not retain personal information, device identifiers, usage data, location data, or any other form of user-related information. Our Android applications are designed and operated on a principle of minimal data handling: we do not maintain user accounts, require registration, or keep logs that could identify or be linked to individual users. Any temporary data that may be processed locally on your device for the sole purpose of providing app functionality is not transmitted to our servers and is not retained by us in any form.
We respect our users' privacy and consider it a core value of our organization. We believe that users should be able to enjoy our applications without concern that their information will be collected, shared, or retained. We strive to find ways to monetize our apps without the liability and risk that is entailed in holding our users' details. By not collecting or retaining user data, we reduce exposure to data breaches, regulatory compliance burdens, and the ethical concerns associated with storing personal information. Our business model is built on the premise that we can deliver value to users and sustain our operations without relying on user data as an asset. Our Apps may communicate with third-party services (for example, to display content or to comply with platform requirements); where such communication occurs, we do not add or attach user-identifying information beyond what is strictly necessary for the technical operation of the feature, and we do not retain records of such interactions in a manner that identifies you.
Our Android applications may integrate with or link to third-party services, including but not limited to the Google Play Store, analytics or crash-reporting tools, or other software components provided by Google or other parties. The privacy practices of those third parties are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Apps. To the extent that we use any third-party tools, we select and configure them to minimize or eliminate the collection of personally identifiable information, and we do not use such tools to build profiles of our users or to retain information about you on our own systems.
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or such higher age as may apply in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not retain any user information as stated in this Policy, we also do not retain information from children. We will not retain such information and will take steps to ensure that no such information is stored by us.
Because we do not collect or retain user information on our systems, the risk of loss, misuse, or unauthorized access to your personal data in our possession is minimized. We do not maintain user databases that could be subject to breach. Any data that exists only on your device remains under your control and is subject to your device's security settings and the policies of the operating system and app store through which you obtained our Apps. We recommend that you keep your device and the Android operating system updated and that you use appropriate security measures to protect your device.
Because we do not retain information about you, there is no personal data held by us that you would need to access, correct, delete, or port. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEAM OF MONKEYS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY INFORMATION (OR LACK OF COLLECTION OF INFORMATION) DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR APPLICABLE IN ALL JURISDICTIONS OR AT ALL TIMES. YOUR USE OF THE APPS IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. IN NO EVENT SHALL TEAM OF MONKEYS, STOM RESEARCH, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPS OR THIS POLICY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITIES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We may update or modify this Android Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective when we post the revised Policy (or as otherwise indicated in the revised Policy). We are not obligated to provide you with prior notice of such changes. Your continued use of our Android applications after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
