What Does Per-GB Proxy Pricing Mean?

Per-GB pricing means you pay for the data that passes through the proxy, not for the number of IPs. It is the standard model for rotating residential proxies.

The short answer

With per-GB pricing, every byte you download and upload through the proxy counts against your plan. 1 GB might cost a few dollars on residential plans. You can use as many IPs as you like; you pay for traffic.

How to estimate your use

Multiply pages by page size. 10,000 product pages at about 2 MB each with a full browser is roughly 20 GB. Fetching just the HTML, or blocking images and video in your headless browser, can cut that by 80 percent or more. Also check whether unused GB expire at the end of the month.
